Chants of the Sea

Al-Naham is the professional chanter who performs these songs, making him an essential member of the crew. The captain of the boat chooses a specific chanter who has a deep and strong voice and the ability to inspire other members of the crew. Al-Naham usually chants emotional and romantic songs and poems, mostly passed down through generations.

The Nahmeh performance will be included in the marine demonstration.
