An innovative cultural experience celebrating the rich intangible heritage of the UAE. Set within Al Hosn site, House of Artisans will showcase the history of traditional Emirati crafts through an inventive exhibition, and provide a platform foEmirati artisans to practice and share their skills with future generations, as well as offer an annual programme of educational workshops and events, including Bait Al Gahwa.

A Day in the Palace Exhibition

This exhibition focuses on the everyday lives of people at the palace. Through oral history accounts, historical documents and photographs, ‘A Day in the Palace’ shows the visitor a typical day in the 1950s and 1960s, following the activities of fictional characters, as inspired by historic figures such as residents, guards and foreign dignitaries.
